What is your Passion?

Passion is a beautiful thing. It will bring meaning to your life and light a fire within you that burns bright even when things aren’t going your way. It gives you a purpose, something to get up for every morning and something to accomplish everyday. A lot of the time when we lose that passion is when we will find ourselves slipping into depression. With a passion or a purpose those everyday nuances can be more easily overlooked and obstacles can be seen as just that, obstacles.
I am pursuing my passion right now.

My passion is to help people, to heal people or more specifically, help people heal themselves. I want to be a Naturopathic Doctor and am currently finishing my second year. I have always had a draw to help people, I loved making ‘remedies’ for all sorts of ailments, studied Ayurveda and was drawn to Holistic Nutrition. I believe Naturopathic Medicine is the vehicle by which I will be able to impart healing, my knowledge and skills. It has been a winding path with a few stops, obstacles and probably more to come but it is something I believe I was meant to do. Sometimes it’s easy to lose sight when I am it's 8:30PM and I'm only half way through the notes for today's lecture (and I haven't made dinner yet), but I always come back to my purpose. And it always gets me through.
I implore you to look within yourself and discover your passions and to follow them no matter what and with no fear of failure. I think that you will find when you are following your passion, everything else will fall nicely into place. The relationships around you will be strong, your body healthy and your mind clear and focused.
